storms.report has no accounts and no ads. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and loads no analytics or tracking scripts.

Your location

“Check alerts where I am” asks your browser for your location only when you press it. Your coordinates are sent to our server to look up the alerts that cover them, and the answer comes straight back. We do not store your location, and it is never put in a web address.

Server logs

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any website, its servers briefly log requests, including the page address and your IP address, to keep the site running and stop abuse. These logs expire on their own and are not used to track you.
