...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas... Llano River Near Mason affecting Mason County. For the Llano River...including Mason...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Llano River near Mason. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding will occur. Secondary roads and low water crossings will become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Thursday was 18.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling to 11.0 feet Friday evening and then to 8.0 feet by Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.5 feet on 10/05/1969. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
