Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

* WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures in the mid 90s to 102 with very warm nights with low temperatures in the 70s expected. For the Wind Advisory, east winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph expected. * WHERE...Orange County Inland Areas. * WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, from 10 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT Thursday. For the Wind Advisory, from 6 AM to 6 PM PDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events.
