Vermillion Creek near Wamego affecting Pottawatomie County. Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Rock Creek near Louisville affecting Pottawatomie County. Marais Des Cygnes River above Reading affecting Lyon and Osage Counties. Black Vermillion River near Frankfort affecting Marshall County. Little Blue River near Barnes affecting Washington and Marshall Counties. Solomon River near Glasco affecting Cloud County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Solomon River near Glasco. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs along the river from the Cloud and Mitchell County line to Niles. At 25.0 feet, County Road 763 floods west of Glasco near the west end bridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:35 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 4.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 23.3 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
